I finished my first Seasons of Lace project and I’m patiently (don’t really know the meanig of the word) waiting for it to dry. 

Swallowtail Shawl

Now I’m about to cast on for a lacy cardigan from CEY Summer Book 1.  I’m using the suggested Classic Elite Sundance which is a nice squishy cotton/microfiber blend that will hopefully knit up quickly on size 7′s.  It’s knit in one piece up to the underarms so I actually swatched… a step I often usually ignore.

Lastly, a question… I am desperately looking for the perfect pattern for a rectangular stole/shawl/scarf for 750 yards of deep red Dream in Color Baby that’s following me aound my house.  I’d love some ideas!  Thanks!

I’m a lace knitter in NYC.  I thought that this group seemed like it was going to be a lot of fun.  I’ve currently got several lace projects on the needles.  I love knitting lace shawls and can’t seem to get enough.  I recently finished a Swallowtail shawl and a Luna Moth shawl.  I’m working on Leaf Lace by Evelyn Clark and the Large Rectangle in Spider Web from Victorian Lace Today (the edging is taking forever).
