We realize there are a LOT of questions here, mostly this comes of us being so new at running this sort of thing and having lots of concerns about trying to make it as good as it can be. As a thank you for going through the whole thing, each person who completes it will be entered into the final raffle of the season!
p.s. this prize offer will be open until 12pm next Monday night.

This is the wonderful lace yarn I got today for the Lace Partnership award!! It’s wonderful!! My camera doesn’t do it justice!! It looks like sun shining off a black birds wing….. the name Thraven fits now that I see it!!!

Many thanks to everyone at Seasons of Lace and most of all to Helen for letting go of this wonderful yarn. I don’t know if I would have been that strong!!!! LOL!!

I won when the random generator selected me from all the voters! Beautiful, soft laceweight yarn.
My mom really loved the color. I think this 903 yds are meant for her!
And great little stitch markers.
AND… It was mailed from the middle of the U.S. on Monday. Tuesday was a Holiday. I got it in my mailbox on the East Coast on Wednesday! Way to go, USPS!
Thank you, thank you!

Just back from Barbados, where I managed to knit some pretty lace cuffs for my cold hands at work–don’t worry, I mostly knit in the plane!
On arriving home, I’d received a lovely sock pattern from Joyknits designs (hearts ‘n hugs lace socks) and the knitpicks lace sampler, in the sunset hues. Since those are not my colors, Knit picks has kindly allowed me to return them for the Sea View sampler! I’ve never been so lucky at receiving prizes! Thanks to all!

So a while back I won two free patterns from Pink Lemon Twist. What a great prize, especially since I’ve been drooling over her patterns for a while. I chose the Hanami Stole and Moondance. I’m sure I have the yarn for these in my stash and look forward to the new Winter season to start either one of these projects.  Thank you so much and until next time happy lace knitting!!

I was actually wondering if I should now knit anything else BUT lace before WOL but I can’t seem to stop myself….

Today we look at the Nominees for Lace Extravaganza (10 nominees).
Our Judges had more of a challenge with this category than with the prior two, as there were more than twice as many entries! Once again, I’ve selected what I perceive to be the key photos from the posts, and once again, I’ve linked to each post by title so you can check out the rest of the pictures the author originally listed. The nominees are, in the order in which they were first posted to the Seasons of Lace blog:

I was a winner in one of the Random Joy raffle drawings.  My prize was to select two patterns from Melanie at Pink Lemon Twist.Â
I’ve been eyeing a few of her patterns since I began (and have yet to finish!) my Swan Lake stole (Mystery Stole 2).
I chose Leda’s Dream (the Original Mystery Stole) and Scheherazade (Mystery Stole 2).
I love all of Melanie’s work and had a hard time deciding!Â
Thank you!
