I finished the first of the Lacy Mitts for I’m designing for my daughter.
I also have the pattern all written out for the left mitt, and have worked out just what needs to be done to reverse it for the right mitt. (I’ve also made great progress in a non-lace design and some simple socks . . . → Read More: Stop…. and face the finish line Read more »

I finished my Adamas shawl for the Ravelympics! It was in Jojoland Harmony cobweb yarn, and I did 17 repeats of chart 2 instead of the 14 in the pattern. Here’s a close-up of the finished edge, with blue beads.

I used three full skeins of Malabrigo laceweight for a total of 1410 yards for this project. It’s a nice shawl, and I learned to add beads on it, so that was fun. The Secret of the Stole III started today so I have another cast on. I know I won’t have this finished by the end of Summer of Lace because I won’t have all the clues, but here is the start. I am using Knit Picks gloss lace weight in celery and clear silver . . . → Read More: Another one Read more »

Yes, I actually cast on a pair of lace socks for Ravelympics. I think I’m crazy. I also made it to the edging of my anniversary shawl, and decided to add beads. I’ve passed another 500 yards on that project as well. So now I’m making beaded lace. It’s fun, but can I make my . . . → Read More: I did it. Read more »

I am plugging away at my anniversary shawl, and my muir shawl. It is taking longer than I thought on the first, and I am using cobweb lace on the second, so it is slower than I thought, but I think I will be happy with both of them. This is so much fun! I have . . . → Read More: Plugging away Read more »
