Under the Wire

I joined a while back but forgot to post an introductory post. Oops.

I’m not an experienced lace knitter, mostly socks and small items so far. My first ever lace shawl was the Mystic Light shawl (Ravelry) and it turned out gorgeous!

I’ve never used lace weight yarn before but I’m really looking forward to . . . → Read More: Under the Wire Read more »

I’ve joined!

Justdotchristina invited me and when i heard there were prizes….well, I’m there!

I haven’t knitted much lace at all, but I’m thinking this is considered lace; so this would be a good incentive to hurry up and finish it.

Lacy Sock Knitter

I love knitting shawls, and things with lace weight yarns, but I think this season will be more about the lacy socks – I’ve got a ton I want to knit, many more than shawls, or other lace weight things. I’ve also got a lot more sock yarn stash. So, while I may get some done . . . → Read More: Lacy Sock Knitter Read more »

Doing Little Things

Well, I signed myself up for the “quantity” competition.  I’ve got a bunch of single skeins of fingering and lace weight around here.  I also don’t seem to have the time or attention span for any large projects.   I’ve been really busy with everything besides knittng, but maybe if I remember that I can use this . . . → Read More: Doing Little Things Read more »

Lace UFOs

Lace UFOs. The albatross around my neck which will not go away. I have a few of them so  I plan to take the mouldy oldies out and try to finish them during this section of the Season of Lace. Which one’s you ask?  I’m almost afraid to name them. I have three of them. Project number one makes me . . . → Read More: Lace UFOs Read more »
