It’s sooo sad to think that this is almost over.
I finished the strips for the afghan I’ve named Splitsville. So named because the yarn split every other stitch (might be a bit of an overstatement). My friend is putting it together now and I hope to have pics later.

I finished off my “I hate to swatch scarf”. I ended up using about 250 yds of lace weight and 1300 size 6/0 beads. (I can’t believe I used that many beads!!) It ended up being 8 inches X 66 inches. I’m probably going to work on the little loops that I put on each end. . . . → Read More: One FO, One not so finished. Read more »

I got my yarn in for my Lyra!! It’s yummy!! I got 2500 yards of silk/wool from Josyln’s Fiber Farm in a Teal/Light Turquiose color. I decided that I really needed to swatch to make sure my 3′s were going to give me the fabric I wanted. One thing about me…… I hate to swatch!! So . . . → Read More: Progress (into insanity!!) Finished up with the Sheep Shawl. It’s really hard to see against the sheet that I use to cover my “blocking board” (little foam tiles that I put on the bed and then pin out the shawl). I used Jagger Spun Maine Line lace weight. The pattern says that this is 1250 yds. Since I’m using . . . → Read More: FO and progress report Read more »
