Hello All. Prize Maven here.
Today is a pretty neat day. It is, of course, the first of August. It’s also the day I finally arrived home from my long road trip with the kids. When I arrived, I found lots of wonderful prizes that had been forwarded to me by some of . . . → Read More: RANDOM JOY! Read more »

Greetings Seasons of Lace Folk!
You know that shawl I’ve been whining about — the one for which I ripped back about 50 rows recently? Yeah, that one. It is my plan to publish the design (hence the ripping back to make sure the model I’m knitting is totally correct so the photos don’t lie).

I’ve been knitting along and charting along and merrily alonging on Daedelus. Clearly, I’ve gotten overly confident, and the universe is letting me know.
Here is where I was this morning
Oh wait, no… that’s the isn’t my scenery to die for shot.
Here’s a better one of the shawl

 Hello there!
It’s Me again — the Prize Maven.
To celebrate my return from the wilds of Canada, and to further celebrate the fact that I think….. just maybe… I have all of the members accurately listed in my magic spread sheet (the one I use to award prizes) AND that I think I have all of the competition entries logged correctly……
I’m awarding another prize. Interweave Press will be sending another copy of their magic Lace issue of Piecework

(are they nice or what?) and Woolly Seashell will be sending out another set of stitch markers (because she enjoyed doing it so much the first time ’round, she upped her donation!). To whom, you ask? Well, I’m a wicked Prize Maven, and I’m going to make you wait until I take care of a bit o’ business.
If you have registered for one of the quantity competitions, you should find yourself listed after the break. Please check. Please please please. I want to be sure that we have you correctly registered for the right competition. AND that we don’t have you incorrectly double registered or registered for the wrong one. And that I’ve not been a complete twit, and haven’t omitted anyone. So. If you promise to check carefully…..
You do?
Good!
Here’s the lucky winner: It’s Erica! (errs)! Erica, I’ll be emailing you — but you can contact me too.

I’ve been working on lace. All over the place….
So far, I’ve knit my SoL lace at home, in my knitting chair… in a hotel in Erie Pennsylvania, in the Bob Evans near said hotel, in Joan’s car while riding all around the Buffalo, NY area, in a lovely chair in her living room, at Niagara Falls, . . . → Read More: Lace Everywhere (cross posting) Read more »

‘m doing my best to keep knitting lace on this stage of our vacation. I’m visiting with the lovely Joan of Fairy Godknitter (who is also a Seasons of Lace Member), and she’s been showing us all sorts of wonderful things that happen to be near her home. Niagara Falls for example. From both sides of . . . → Read More: Multiple Lace Projects… token attention Read more »
