My last entry – Bulky Red Himalaya Zigzag Lace Scarf

I just started this a couple of weeks ago.  It’s a fast easy pattern.  I’m planning on giving it as a gift to a very fair complexioned, blue eyed, blonde lady.  Do you think this red will look good on that type of coloring?  I hope so.  You can see all the project . . . → Read More: My last entry – Bulky Red Himalaya Zigzag Lace Scarf Read more »

My first shawl

Believe it or not, this shawl has less than 350 yards of luscious wool/silk yarn – details of which can be seen at my Ravelry link.

I couldn’t believe it knitted up so quickly!  I will be tackling another shawl . . . → Read More: My first shawl Read more »

LLR’s Lace Disaster!

I was almost finished… only about twenty more rows to go.

I was going to be able to finish this scarf in time to give it to my sister for her birthday….

LLR’s Los Monos Locos Socks

I started these 7/15/08.  I’m realizing too late that I didn’t ever post a “Cast On” post for these projects.  But anyway, at least I’m getting them posted for “Finished Objects.”  And they just barely make it into the “Small lace knitting by size” category!

I actually LOVED working this pattern.  I even had to revise it . . . → Read More: LLR’s Los Monos Locos Socks Read more »

A Newbie Wee FO – Amanda hat

I started this hat July 1st.  Here’s my Ravelry link for all the details and extra pictures.  It was definitely a learning experience, but I think I’ll probably actually wear it this Winter!  I call it my Himalaya hat because the yarn is Himalaya Yarn from Tibet!  And it has bits of bright colorful silk thrown . . . → Read More: A Newbie Wee FO – Amanda hat Read more »

8 inches of Green

It’s 8 inches long and full of mistakes…

But I WILL finish it.  Hopefully in time to give it as a Christmas present.

Let me see, 8 inches of 60 inches total equals 13.3333 percent.

The details are in my Ravelry . . . → Read More: 8 inches of Green Read more »

I’ve joined!

Justdotchristina invited me and when i heard there were prizes….well, I’m there!

I haven’t knitted much lace at all, but I’m thinking this is considered lace; so this would be a good incentive to hurry up and finish it.

Looking forward to . . . → Read More: I’ve joined! Read more »
