And the Prize Processing Goes forward…
Greetings one and all.
I’m sitting here with my spreadsheets and all the entry forms, making sure that I have all of the entries in, and that my data is accurate. For clarification, and so that I really do award the prizes to the competition winners, I’d like to verify the following things:
The following folks once stated that they intended to participate in the Most Small Items Knit competition. Those whose names are bolded are folks from whom I have Final Submissions (and indeed other supporting data). The rest of you are folks for whom I have no competition entry data. If you did want to compete, you have until Sunday, September 28 at noon CST to get your posts up and your competition forms in. UPDATE: Those whose withdrawals I’ve received are stricken out (so you can confirm I got your messages)

I also have littlelena and KnatteringKnitter who didn’t originally sign up for that competition, but for whom I have yardage information.
If you intended to compete, NOW is the time to get that information to us!
Please be sure to post a summing up post (with pictures of all the goodies) and a total count (yardage or number of small (e.g.350-700 yds) items)), and to include a link to that post in your final competition submission.

Surprised to see my name on the most yardage competition! I definitely had no intention of signing up for that, I’m allergic to counting yards, usually. So that was a mistake of some sort; I’m sorry.
And then I really did sign up on purpose for the Small Lace competition, but scratched. All my lace projects were too big or too small. I thought my lace socks would be in the right ballpark, but no, the yardage was a little short.
Plus, when I signed up, I swear the link wasn’t there defining “Small Lace” and I had a misapprehension about it (in fact, I know when I posted my first lace project, I thought it qualified, but it was Wee Lace).
So apparently I tend to knit Wee Lace and Large Lace, but not so much in between! And apparently I’m incapable of not following my whims and knitting what I feel like, rather than picking projects suitable for the competition.
: )
Just wanted to let you know, Helen & helpers! Maybe next time I’ll have a strategy….
Radarkaty checking in. I finished nothing. Too much started happening so nothing got finished.
I’m fairly positive I completed a Competition Entry form for my first project as stated in the rules. I am away from home for the weekend, but I will look on my computer when I get home and see if I have a copy of it.
Hey,
nolaboard here. My name is stricken out. I didn’t withdraw from anything!
Oops,
I get it, I’m crossed out from most lace yardage. Sorry.
I forgot my password, and the “password reset” page seems to be non-functional.
Can you tell me about what problem you had and what kind of computer and browser you use? I ran a test on it just now and it appears to be working properly.
“Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid”
iMac, Safari 3.1.2, which I believe is the same version I was using when I WAS able to post to the blog.
It may just be the “password reset” that’s not working. Plus my memory.
I’ll manually reset your password and email the new information to you.
