wrapping up
For once, I’ve had a successful KAL! Despite past tradition of not knitting along, I manged to knit lace (and only lace!) successfully all summer. I even managed to sneak in one last completion:
Pattern: Pear and Trellis (Knitspot)
Yarn:Colourmart Cashmere/Silk 3/45NM Laceweight, worked with two strands together
Needles: 3.0mm/ U.S. 2-1/2
In addition to two other completed projects, I also started, frogged, restarted, refrogged, restarted (etc.) two other projects, which might actually get back on the needles…sometime. Earlier, I finally started Bee Fields (also Knitspot), but, distracted by my Ravelympics entry, didn’t make it out of the second (first? my memory’s foggy on this one) chart. As it stands today, I’m not sure it’s much further than my previous posting.
So, in sum total, I manged…erm…not very many yards, at least compared to some!
Previously submitted, Mare ocsuro had 815 yards.
Of a total 287 yards for Pear & Trellis, I knit 180 during Summer of Lace.
Elm Row was 268 yards
And Bee Fields, so far stands at ~ 165 yards.
For a grand (ahem) total of 1428 yards. Not exactly impressive…but if you count all the frogging and reknitting…actually, I’m really happy with what I accomplished. Now onto a fall for finishing! (And sweaters. Which need finished.)
One response so far
