The end is Nigh! - Correction
Well just the end of the Summer of Lace -
This just a reminder for you all that the summer season is coming to an end, if you have updates you’ve been putting off now is the time for getting them writen and posted. At midnight U.S. Central time on Sept. 23 we’ll stop counting any posts, projects, and yardage submissions.
Don’t forget to about the nomination categories:
- Lace Partnerships - Best pairing of yarn and pattern
- Lace on Display - Best photograph of a finished lace object
- Lace Disasters - Best lace disaster photo
- Lace on Vacation - Best photo of your lace relaxing somewhere fun
- Lace Extravaganza - Most Impressive and/or Adventurous Lace Object
- Viewers Choice Award
Have you nominated anyone in these categories? Maybe you want to peruse the archive and find an award winner, maybe you want to nominate yourself!
Either way, remember September 23 rd at midnight U.S. Central time is the day.

Do I undestand we must have one photo with all of our lace in it?? Because I have already given some of the items away…
That is the idea - but if you have individual pictures of the items you could post them all behind a –more– tag.
# At the end of the season , create a post on the blog and then fill out a Final Tally form.
1. In a post on the blog list all of the projects that you knit as part of the competition, and report either the total number of small lace projects you knit, or the total number of yards you knit (The readers want to know). Also include or link to a picture of your season’s achievements. (Keep track of the URL of this post; you’ll need it in a minute).
2. Fill out a Competition form in which you’ll report a summary of your projects. For the Total Yardage competition, you’ll report how many yards you knit; for the Most Small Lace Projects competition, you’ll report the number of projects you finished. Put a link to your blog post in the information.

The “Rules” say the deadline is September 23rd! Hopefully this won’t be an issue.
actually according to the internets that I just looked at - its 09-22-2008 at 15:39 - but just consider me silly - we’ll keep to whatever we put in the rules - wouldn’t it be nice if this Mod read them before she posted -
