fo, evacuation, etc.
Evacuated from New Orleans, to my sister’s in Baton Rouge. I’ve finished my dog lace scarf (see below), but don’t know where my camera is for now. Started and have one pattern repeat done on a Totally Autumn laprobe by Anne Hanson. Also working on finishing a Rivolo scarf by her. And then I brought a bunch of my favorite stash,
so I can knit while I watch the levees overtop in New Orleans…Â kinda sad today.

That is truly awful, but at least you are safe now. Hope you brought all your stash!!!
I’m glad you’re safe!
And glad that, so far anyway, it looks like Gustav has been gentle to New Orleans.
I’m so glad you are relocated to a safer area. Will be sending thoughts and prayers your way while you wait this one out and clean up yet again.
I’m home! I have power! We didn’t have power in Baton Rouge after the storm approached, so it was hot and dark. Now I’m in New Orleans, and all good. Well, at my house, some people still don’t have power, and some got roof or tree damage to their houses again. But it is not what it might have been, so most places are ok. Whew. Thanks for your good thoughts!
