I´ve been lucky to get an opportunity to  test knit a pattern and that´s what I´ve been doing. Here´s what turned out:

Used appr. 400 yds of zephyr 2/18, 3.5 mm needles and the finished measurements are 150 x 20 cm.

Edit: more pics and pattern url:

The pattern is called Cathedral by Julia Riede and it´s available on ravelry at http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/cathedral-2.

Is that THE zephyr? It’s lovely. Thanks for posting the needle size. I’ve been tempted to purchase some zephyr but have been afraid that it is too fine for me. Your photo has convinced me otherwise–I love the look of the fabric. I can’t wait for the chance to buy a cone of it!

I love zephyr, see my last fo laminaria (here or on ravelry), it too is knitted from zephyr with 3,5 mmm needles. You should try it!!!! Oh and if doubt of buying a big cone, there are 2 oz skeins to try it on, this uses less than a skein :D
