The last couple of weeks have been busy family wise including two trips to the ER and two extended hospital stays ending in surgery on my 79yr old mother. Thankfully it all turned out well and she is slowly improving. I finished my Hanami during this time but have not had time to properly block it. I used 800 yds of Malabrigo Lace.
I have also cast on two new stoles the first is part of the Secret of the Stole III in Jaggerspun Ice Blue and the pink one is a new pattern called Atlantis by Melanie Gibbons.
Both stoles are off to a great start. Although, when I look at the photo of them together, I instantly think baby nursery. LOL Just a funny instant impression I thought I would share…
I know I am thinking the same thing. LOL I will just have to make sure they have their own rooms to live in and keep them separated like all rival siblings!
