If I count correctly (which isn’t guaranteed), this is the fifth project I’ve started since June 21st, and I haven’t finished one yet. For me, it’s been more “Seasons of Startitis” rather than “Seasons of Lace”. In my defense: this is my Ravelympics project. (OK, yes, I could have opted for WIP Wrestling, but that would take all the fun out of it.)
Close up from Saturday:
Where it is today (Monday):
This is an especially scary project: I’m designing it myself. I had no intention of doing that this summer, but I couldn’t find the “perfect” pattern for the yarn (Briar Rose Fibers Sea Pearl). (Come to think of it, I’m still not sure I have – but now I have no excuses!) The downside (besides all the guesswork – and double-guessing myself) is that I can’t really be sure of anything – especially if I’ll have enough yarn – until I knit the thing. I don’t really mind frogging and re-knitting, but if I have to do too much, I won’t finish on time! Nothing like setting myself up for a challenge…

That Sea Pearl is a lovely color and you’ve made a lot of progress. I don’t think I’d be that far along in such a short time.
Thank you, part of the reason I’ve made so much progress is that I really love the yarn. I also had today off of work, so that helps.
You were wise! I’m supposed to be wrestling a couple of WIPs and am not having any fun at all. Or get much knitting done for that matter either.
I knew there was a reason I avoided WIP wrestling! I generally find if it’s been a WIP for a while, there’s a reason. Good luck at making progress!
