Finally finished a project~
Over the weekend I finished my first lace project. I just had to pick up a small “instant gratification” project. The mystery shawl is just dragging on. So here’s my finished lace:
The pattern is Lace Leaf Hat by Laura Todd. The yarn is Knit Picks Palette in Lipstick. I knitted this up on size 5s. The pattern is pretty easy to follow. It was a fast and easy knit. I’m real pleased with the way it turned out. Here’s a close up on the leaf pattern:
I’m hoping to get some good pictures of me wearing this hat in September. We have a camping trip planned in Colorado, so it should be cool enough up in the mountains to wear the hat.
