Finished and casting on

I finished my Juno regina stole last night and here you see how she turned up. Too bad my chili peppers are still green, otherwise would they have been a great photo set-up ;) The stole is 190 cm long and it used 1148 yards of yarn, slightly less than one skein of lace weight cash/silk and 35 grams of cobweb weight solid red. It has such a beautiful sheen. I think of it more as a scaf, as it is only 38 cm wide, but I hope my sister will like it anyway. Next I´m pending between Spring forwards or a dk weight scarf, have to go swatching to decide….

It’s gorgeous! I just love the colors. I started one in blue malabrigo a while back but stalled when I got past the diamonds. I’m hoping to finish it in the fall because I really want to wear it someday.

Do you mean Do I like to wear shawls? Well, it´s hard to say as *all* I´ve knitted have gone away as presents and the one just for me isn´t yet casted on… but I sure like the idea of being wrapped in a warm cosy shawl or stole ;=)
