I am soooooo annoyed! I made such great progress on my Icarus and it’s looking so good…. Then I come to find out that I will not have enough yarn to complete the project. But that’s not all! Turns out the Handmaiden 2 Ply Silk Cashmere that I’m using has been discontinued! So I can’t even buy more! So now I’m stuck with trying to find other yarns online that work which is very difficult. It’s even possible that the colorway of my yarn (Marine) has been discontinued! Sob!
So, uh, does anyone happen to have some Handmaiden 2 Ply Silk Cashmere in the Marine colorway lying about the place?

Maybe you could try the iso and destash- forum on ravelry, or contact those who have it in stash directly?
If the Rav ISO/Destash doesn’t work, you could try knitting the edging in a complimentary color–there are some great-looking examples of two-toned Icarus shawls on Rav!
I’m so sorry! I hate when that happens. Ditto on trying ravelry but having a different color on the bottom could still work depending on how far along you are. Good Luck!
