New Yarn and more projects
My Knit Picks order came in yesterday! I also received my kit for the Peacock Feathers shawl! Talk about an exciting week! It’s time to get the ball winder out and get to work on the hanks!
 
There was a lot of organizing going on last night. I also made plans for some of my next projects. First, my goal is to get the Arctic Diamonds Stole at least 50% completed. It’s going pretty slow. I also want to try to finish the goddess knits mystery shawl. I think the edging is going to be a bit challenging, but I’ll manage. I now have the yarn for my Argosy shawl, Adamas shawl, and a few shawls from my Wrapped in Comfort book. I also printed out some patterns for lace berets/tams. I already have the yarn for those so that won’t be a big deal. I just really want to finish something! I feel like the two projects I have going now are taking FOREVER! I try to remind myself that I do work 40 hours a week and have a husband to take care of, so that eats at my knitting time. This weekend however I am determined to make significant progress on my shawls. I’m also going to try to get all my hanks ran through the ball winder tomorrow evening. *Sigh* so much to do, so little time! Oh yeah, and I decided to frogg my yellow mystery shawl that I had started, I just wasn’t feeling the circular shawl vibe right now. So that yellow is going to become a shawl from Wrapped in Comfort as well.

Yeah for Knitpicks! I just got a big order from them about a week ago and it is almost too much not to want to cast on all of it.
