One finished shawl:
I swear my Dad turns over in his grave every time I post one of my pics!! He was a professional photographer and would be sooooo disappointed in my efforts. Of course I’m the first to admit I’m really badddddd with a camera!! LOL!! This is the Ivy Leaf Shawl by Jeannie Townsend. It was fun, but after 13 repeats it got pretty hard to make myself finish! It did turn out plenty big at 82 inches across the top and 62 inches down the sides. I used a total of 1100 yards of Knit Picks Gossamer. I’m really glad that it’s finished and blocking.
On the casting on note. I started the Sheep Shawl (I’ve already done this one 3 times, but it was just the perfect one for this gift!! The lady it’s for owns a fiber farm!!) I’m using Jagger Spun Maine Line in Lace weight, a color called Willow. Hopefull this won’t take too long, as I want to get started on the new Goddess Knits Mystery and I’ve still got 2 others on the needles to finish!!

Even blurry the shawl looks beautiful!
