I was off to a good start…

…but lately things have not being going to so well.  I am going to frog my Montego Bay scarf because one long side is coming out wonky and I don’t think it is fixable.  Then I tried and failed several times to start the Flower Basket shawl.  I had some trouble with finding the stitches created by the provisional cast on.  I finally got going on it and knit 3 or 4 rows, and then I kept missing yarn overs.  So I will have to try again on that one.

I am almost hesitant to show you the one project that is going well, because it is such easy lace.  But I needed a travelling project, and this scarf fills the bill.  It is the Opera Scarf from Blue Sky Alpacas.  I’m using a pima cotton and silk blend from Frog Tree on size 6 needles, and I am very happy with the fabric I am getting.

It looks like I am going to have a couple of weekends to myself this month, so I am hopeful that I will be able to start a more challenging project then.  I may rethink which one, though.
