Folk Shawls Book
I have been over at Knit Picks looking for a book of shawl patterns to buy while the sale is still on. Has anyone knit any of the patterns from this book? I saw a few patterns that I thought looked very pretty from the photos that were on the site. So far I have restrained from buying any more lace yarn, but the new colors are hard to resist…

I too had been resisting buying more lace yarn, but resistance was futile for me. I placed an order and it should be shipping out today sometime. I also ordered the kit from fiddlesticks for the peacock feathers shawl yesterday. My excuse for giving in was my hubby said I should treat myself with some yarn and that shawl pattern. My hubby is such an enabler! He says he likes to see me happy, and that I am always happy when I get new yarn to play with. LOL!
Love this book. I’m currently knitting the peddler’s shawl for my grandma. This is my first lace project, but a friend who is a good lace knitter loves this book as well. Give in it’s worth it.
