Thought I’d drop in with a progress report. I’m on my 4th clue on the Anniversary Mystery Shawl. I’m using a lace weight wool in the color “lettuce”. Right now that’s all it looks like…… a head of wilted lettuce!!
I’m on the first of the Spring Mystery Stole. I’ve frogged this 3 times. I used green first, no, blue fingering weight next, no, blue lace weight, not that one either!! Then, Knit Picks Shadow in Redwood Forest with green bead (looks like leaves budding out to me)……. just where I wanted to go!!!! So after 3 frogs, I got a prince!!

I LOVE the idea of the green beads with the rust yarn! I will really have to do that for something this fall. Your shawl really does look like limp lettuce.
I’m making mine in lettuce too, but it must be a different variety (see photos in my post from this morning)
