I’m off to Guide camp this weekend, I think it could be quite productive for knitting, I’m just there as an extra pair of hands, and the Guides are off al day doing activities. I want to get a pair of socks finished for this months Socktopia, unfortunately they’re not lace so don’t count for this. The Foxglove shawl (Fir Cone wrap) is coming with me, I started the new ball last night with 6 stitches remaining on the 6th repeat. The length will be just fine, I was flapping unnecessarily! Here’s hoping it doesn’t rain too much as pale pink and mud are not a good mixture. I’ll be back Sunday nigh, hopefully with pictures, knitting in wellies is always a good look!
Now I need to enjoy the rest of my birthday, even if it does involve packing for Guide camp, putting the clothes in my temporary home back in bags ready for moving on Monday and going to get some Euros ready for my trip to Ireland.
