WordPress doesn’t seem to want to let me show you the flickr pictures… but I did start my GoddessKnits’ Anniversary Mystery Shawl yesterday. I put a previous post with the swatch and the yarn… but hadn’t gotten to take pictures of the actual knitting.
edited to add the photos… thanks for letting me know about the second icon! The “Add Media” one did not work.

Very pretty! I love the color. To put a picture on this site, you go to your flicker site to the photostream page, click on the picture you want to use. It takes you to another page that has the picture you selected where you have small icons above the picture. Select the one that says “All Sizes” near the little maganifying glass with the plus sign in it. This takes you to another page wit the picture and above the pictures, you can select what size you want to copy, square, thumbnail, small, medium or orginal. click on the size above that you want and it will display the picture as it will appear when you post it. Now that you have selected a size, scroll down below the picture. You will see two options. You want to “Grab the photo’s URL” so go and highlight the code and copy it (right click to select then right click the mouse to copy). Come to this site, and go to the area to put in a new post. To add a picture, look at the icons above the writing area. Select the small “picture frame” where it says to “Add Media” and put the URL info into it as well as a discription of the picture and add it to your post. Good Luck!
Thanks for the Comment. I appreciate the explanation, but I knew how to put pictures in. I was able to put them in a previous post.
However, since yesterday, the process has not worked for me. When I tried to post a ‘start’ picture, I took all the right steps and was left with a white blank box and no uploaded photo/media.
The only think I could do with the blank white box was hit the ‘x’ to close it and I was taken back to my message – without the picture.
Ah, well. Hoping it’s a wordpress blip and not a permanent fatal error!

I suspect your browser is having a problem with the Ajax script that one of the picture posting interfaces uses. Can you let me know what browser you are using?
Also there are 2 different buttons you can click to post a picture. Have you tried both of them?
