I cast on the Mystic Waters shawl yesterday evening. I was planning on getting pictures, but…it decided to storm and really rain for the first time in over a year. I will get them as soon as it drys out a bit. I’m using 6/2 weaver’s cotton in Ultramarine blue for it on US size 4 needles and love the way it is turning out. I finished the first chart today.
I also have been working on the Vkandis Sunlord Shawl, did 3 rows today on it. This is a circular shawl that I’ve been test knitting, started it in April and still have 8 charts and the knitted on border to do. It is in bright orange 6/2 weaver’s cotton, with red opaque rainbow beads, forming diamonds on the final set of rays for the sunburst design.
