I’m signing up for the most yards, but I think I’ll have to hope complete the most beautiful finished item to win a prize! I’m not such a fast knitter and am not sure I’ll achieve much yardage. Since my lace knitting of choice is a stole or a shawl, I won’t be competing in the “most small things” category. (hope I tagged this post correctly)
I’m ready to go this afternoon.
I’ve decided to start the GoddessKnits pattern today – with my Persian Night yarn by handpaintedyarn.com.
Beads are optional. I have found the perfect blend for my yarn and will be adding them to subsequent clues. The first two clues are available at this time, but the fabric from these will lie on my neck… I don’t really want beads on my neck (heck, I don’t even wear necklaces!). So, beads later.
If I finish the clues early enough today (insert manaical laughter here) – I’ll cast on Casablanca in the color I swatched for Mystic Meadows (see my ravelry projects – rav name: Radarkaty) because have two mostly solid yarns that have just arrived that will be better for the MM KAL.
This shawl will be my second lace project, I think, or maybe my third if Horcrux Socks count as lace!
