I’ve been reading the blog since I saw it listed on the 2008 KAL list, but I have been hesitating about jumping in. However, with the 20th right around the corner, I decided I couldn’t resist joining. Summer is my busiest time of the year at work, so I may be crazy thinking I can knit lace at this time of year, but I’m going to try. First up will probably be the Flower Basket Shawl, done in either the scarf or small shawl size. I would also like to try Branching Out. I will see how those two projects go before I decide on my next step. I should probably add that I am a newbie lace knitter. I’ve started and frogged several projects, but the only one I have actually finished up til now is the Liesel scarf. I’m really looking forward to getting both motivation and inspiration from everyone’s projects!
