I’m swatching! I love Elann’s Peruvian Baby Lace Merino and have an ample amount in three colors – sherwood, champagne, and rose. I’ve decided I’m going to determine which needle size I really like. I’m already knitting two shawls out of the Sherwood (Orkney Pi) and the Champagne (Corfu). I know from experience that I apparently knit tighter than Andrea of BadCatDesigns (the designer of the Corfu). So I need to know what my gauge is to determine how many repeats I need to make. I will try to post some pictures when I get new batteries for my camera.
Hmm, I’m thinking it would be beneficial to add swatches to our notebook area to keep tabs on what needles and gauge we get with various yarns.
