Newbie

Hi,  I’m Carla and I’m a lace knitting addict!!  (the group now says HI)….  just kidding, but there should be a 12 step program for this!!!  I’ve got 2 mystery shawls on the needles right now, both from Goddess Knits (I love her patterns, so easy to follow!!)  I’ve also signed up for: Mystic Meadows, Pearls (something, from Knit Delight on Yahoo, just can’t think of the name right now) Goddess Knits Anniversary KAL, Mystery 9 from Goddss Knits, and another one that I can’t think of right now.  I guess that explains why I consider myself an addict??  Whoops, and I’m doing the Civil War Shawl KAL too.  To add with this I do 5 sock groups monthly.  My house usually looks very “lived in” and I cook one meal a day….. have to have time to knit!!!  I have husband, 2 dogs, and assorted numbers of cats that live with and my DD is staying with us while her husband is in Iraq for our country.  I’ve got 4 grown kids and 6 grands and that pretty well tells all about me.    Carla
