Well, I’m eager to get started on lace – I have plenty of laceweight yarns calling my name – but I think I’ll try to stick to my warm-up project for now! I’m working on Anne Hanson’s Pear and Trellis, in a silk-cashmere blend from ColourMart, (2) strands held together on 3.0 mm (US 2.5) needles. It’s a nice little project that I’ve mostly worked on when I needed a break from bigger (non-lace) projects. I hope to get this finished before Summer of Lace officially starts.
(Eek! Now that I look at it, that really needs blocked before it gets any more photo time!)
